About this Event
Deep in the woods, something enormous is waiting.
Storytime at the Opera returns with one of the most beloved creatures in all of picture-book history. Join us for a musical retelling of Julia Donaldson's The Gruffalo—where a very clever mouse, a very dark wood, and one terribly magnificent monster come to life through live music, movement, and just the right amount of delicious suspense.
With storytelling by Gillian Hunter-Gibbs, music by Perri Lo, and a special guest appearance by Luka Kawabata.
Perfect for little ones ages 5 and under, this free 45-minute session is designed to feel as cozy as it is captivating—cushions on the floor, caregivers welcome to wriggle along, and no such thing as sitting too still.
Whether it's your child's first live performance or their fifth, Storytime at the Opera meets them exactly where they are.
Saturday, June 20 · 11:00 AM Free to attend. Space is limited—please reserve your spot.
