Storytelling with Music for Children

Join us for a heartwarming cultural evening designed especially for young children and their families. Storytelling with Indian Music brings to life the timeless spirit of India’s storytelling traditions through engaging narration, live music, and immersive soundscapes.

This interactive session invites children aged 4 to 8 years to experience the charm of the ancient Indian classic Panchatantra, a treasured collection of animal fables from the 3rd–6th century AD. These stories of friendship, courage, loyalty, and wisdom continue to resonate across generations and cultures.

Artists Ravi Srinivasan, Sebastian Dreyer and Silvia Ladewig will present a dramatic narration of cheerful and thoughtful tales that spark imagination and curiosity. The storytelling will be beautifully complemented by live Indian music featuring the sitar and tanpura.

All stories will be presented in English/German, making the session accessible and enjoyable for all children.

Key Details regarding Registration/Tickets:

• It is mandatory for every child to be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
• Family orders (2-5 tickets per order) are being accepted for this event. Please ensure you complete the name and age details for each attendee in order to complete the registration process.

• Entry to events at the Embassy of India, Berlin is only by registration. We reserve the right to refuse admission to any person at our discretion.
• Valid ID cards/passports having German stay permits. EU citizens may carry copies of their local registration certificate.
• No bags are permitted inside the premises due to security reasons.
