From visual direction to copywriting, campaign strategy to branded content, storytelling sits at the heart of it all. But the process of building a resonant, emotionally engaging narrative in a commercial setting is rarely straightforward.
This event brings together three panellists working across the advertising landscape, each representing a distinct creative pathway:
- Julian Pestal – creative strategist and founder of Markenkunst, blending bold branding with artistic vision for clients like Uber and Jung von Matt.
- Julian Spillner – Berlin-based director bringing a photographic eye and dry humour to commercials for eBay, Spotify and more.
- Tracey Gudwin –TV director, writer and senior creative producer with 20+ years’ experience across major brand campaigns for Visa, Babbel and KAYAK and German television.
Moderated by Amos Eretusi, founder & managing director of The Kusp, the session will explore both the artistic and professional sides of storytelling in advertising, including:
