About this Event
Stillness of Your Winter's Waters: An Earth Ways Yoga Journey
with Kate Mulheron, founder of Earth Ways Yoga
Join us for a sacred yoga asana journey during the winter months for stillness, pause, and reflection, supported by the element of water. This is a time to honor Winter's teachings by slowing down, connecting with your inner self, and aligning with nature’s cycle of rest and renewal.
Through this journey, we will:
- Practice an honoring of the 7 Directions
- Engage in chakra-clearing meditations
- Experience a meditative asana sequence designed to align with winter’s energy
This deeply intuitive practice helps clear, shield, and protect your mind, body, and spirit, allowing you to live more vibrantly and in harmony with the earth and each other.
In Chinese 5 Element theory, winter corresponds to the Water element, represented by the Kidney and Bladder meridians. We will work with these channels to strengthen your inner reserves, balance boundaries, and find deep alignment during this time of rest.
Not everyone feels supported or nourished during winter, which is natural. This is a time for inner work and self-love, guided by the lessons of the North. By pausing, moving more slowly, and connecting to the earth, we honor the growth we’ve earned in 2024.
The event will feature live ambient music by Jay Kraemer.
Kate Mulheron is a deeply experienced teacher - over 15 years of dedicated teaching and the founder of Earth Ways Yoga. Through her work stewarding this practice, she builds a thoughtful connection between Mother Earth and the human experience to unlock barriers that have held you back from walking a greater path of vibrancy in this life.
