Colorado Animal Rescue (C.A.R.E.) invites you join us on Saturday, December 21st to our annual Snowshoe Shuffle, an 8K race (on snowshoes!) through Babbish Gulch, starting and ending at Sunlight Mountain Resort.Registration opens at 9am | Race kicks off at 10am
Registration Fee: Kids 12 and under are $15, ages 13 and up are $30. Fees increase by $5 the day of the event.
Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors, all fees go to benefiting the shelter animals! All in-person participants will receive a medal & event shirt (sizes available on a first come, first serve basis), and be entered into a raffle to WIN some fabulous prizes provided by Cripple Creek Backcountry, Slope & Hatch, White House Pizza and many more! Additional prizes will be awarded to our top finishers in each category!
Don’t have snowshoes? Or, maybe they’re still in storage? We’ll have assorted sizes of snowshoes available for use in the race thanks to Beaver Creek Nordic Sports Center!
Race check-in and headquarters will be in the Main Lodge at Sunlight Mountain Resort. Invite your friends and family to support Colorado Animal Rescue and join us for a morning of beautiful scenery and great exercise to support the shelter pets.
