About this Event
It's Girls Night in the Roaring Fork Valley! Join Wildkind Co-Founder, Heather Balogh Rochfort and Ambassador, Kaylan Riley for a beginner friendly, no-drop uphill ski at the Marion Gulch Trailhead. This is a great chance to dust off your touring gear, warm up those legs, and meet some new lady ski partners as we move into the ski season! Hikers & snowshoers are also welcome.
All ladies must bring their own gear, a headlamp, and a pack to carry extra layers, a personal first aid kit and your avy gear. (This is a summer road that has almost no avalanche risk, however it is generally best practice to bring your shovel, beacon, and probe when traveling outside of controlled areas.)
Afterwards, warm up by a (propane) fire with snacks and drinks. Feel free to BYO to contribute but it is not required!
RSVP's are required so that we can plan ahead and notify you if our plans change.
Our team is made of wonderful volunteers and are not considered instructors or guides. They and should not be relied upon as such for any activity. Please come prepared to support yourself (and your family) with the skills needed to preform the activity described. Thank you!
We can't wait to see you there!
