Still Parents Stretch and Sketch
Sunday 8 February 1:30-4pm
Caroline Dowsett and Emma Thorlby will be leading a special Stretch and Sketch especially for Still Parents. Combining nature-inspired yoga with mindful art-making, this session offers space to move and create at your own pace.
Guided by the rhythms of the seasons, Emma’s yoga practice supports reconnection with your body through soft, intuitive movement, while Caroline’s mindful art invites quiet creativity as a form of reflection and meditation. Together, they create a welcoming, playful environment to feel connected.
No art or yoga experience needed.
Tea, coffee, and cake will be flowing to keep creative energy up and our Sands volunteers on hand if you need a chat.
This workshop is free and supported by Manchester Sands, as part of the Whitworth’s award-winning Still Parents programme — a space for bereaved parents to come together through art and making.
