Stephen Drew: How to Retain Your Top Talent

Stephen Drew reveals techniques for preventing your best architects leaving from leaving and how to keep them for longer.
About this Event

Most architecture practices think hiring is their biggest problem. It isn't. Retention is. Stephen Drew has spent over a decade recruiting architects across the UK, first leading in-house talent teams at EPR Architects and Ackroyd Lowrie, then founding Architecture Social.

He has seen exactly why great architects leave, often before their first year is up and what the practices that keep them do differently.

In his talk Stephen cuts through the usual employer branding fluff and gets into the specifics:

• how to attract the best people.

• what candidates really say when they turn down your offer.

• what makes someone pick a 10-person studio over a global firm (and vice versa).

• the three things every practice owner can fix this month.

Expect honest, practical advice from someone who has sat on both sides of the table.
