Ever dreamed of driving a real steam locomotive? Make it happen with this Once-in-a-Lifetime Experience 🚂Spend a full day on the footplate learning how to fire, drive and handle a steam engine under the guidance of experienced instructors. The day runs from 10am to approx. 4:15pm, starting with a safety induction and introduction to how a steam locomotive works, followed by hands-on driving throughout the morning.
After lunch, carriages are coupled so you’ll experience the thrill of pulling a train on the line — the real deal.
