Welcome to Startup Sunday!
Startup Sunday is a free monthly meetup for women and non-binary people who are self-employed or starting a business. It’s a relaxed, welcoming space to connect, share ideas, and build confidence together over a cuppa.
Each session includes a short workshop to support your personal or professional development.
💡 This Month’s Workshop: Self-Care for Surviving and Thriving in Business with Margaret Barrie
Self-Care for Surviving and Thriving in Business is a short, supportive workshop facilitated by Margaret Barrie, an experienced coach with a background in counselling psychology, physical intelligence and strengths-based coaching.
Margaret will guide a gentle exploration of how to take care of yourself while running a business, helping you reflect on what you need to stay well, resilient and sustainable in both work and life.

Startup Sunday runs on the second Sunday of each month. You’re welcome to drop in at any time during the session and stay for as long as you like.
Southsea Library is a bright, accessible and family-friendly venue with level access, accessible toilets and space for buggies. Children are always welcome, so there’s no need to choose between your business and your babies.
☕ Free tea, coffee and light snacks are provided.
💬 No elevator pitches or pressure, just genuine conversation.
👶 Child-friendly activities and space for little ones to play.
About Our Guest Facilitator Margaret Barrie
Margaret Barrie is a self-employed coach with a rich background in counselling psychology, physical intelligence and strengths-based coaching. She has spent much of her working life supporting people through change, reflection and growth, and understands first-hand the realities of running a business while caring for your own wellbeing.
Margaret brings a calm, compassionate and practical approach to her work, creating supportive spaces where people can pause, reconnect with themselves and build more sustainable ways of working.
