About this Event
Led by Artistic Director Marie Vickers, this programme helps you develop the confidence to lead and support projects that are shaped by the voices and experiences of the communities you work with.
You’ll gain insight on how you can work with children, vulnerable young people, and older adults, and learn how theatre can be used as a tool for connection, expression, and social change.
What You Can Expect
- How to plan and deliver community projects collaboratively
- Develop different facilitation styles and devising techniques
- Consider how to work with children, vulnerable young people and older adults
- Learn how to plan and deliver your own community projects
- An understanding of the different career pathways in community theatre
You must be aged 18-25 to take part in this programme. Travel is reimbursed and refreshments are provided. No work experience or qualifications needed.
