Staff Network Conference 2025

London Metropolitan University is proud to host its annual Staff Network Conference, a day dedicated to celebrating, strengthening and growing our staff networks.

Staff networks play a vital role in fostering belonging, supporting professional development, and championing equity across the University. This conference brings together colleagues from across London Met to share experiences, learn from inspiring speakers, and explore how we can continue to build vibrant, visible, and impactful networks.

What to Expect:

Keynote speakers offering insight into the power of staff networks in higher education and beyond
Interactive workshops focused on leadership, collaboration and practical skills
Panel discussions showcasing the voices and experiences of our own network members
Opportunities to connect with colleagues across the University and hear how you can get involved
A complimentary lunch bringing everyone together to build relationships and community
Exclusive merch and freebies to take away as a reminder of the day and our growing staff network community

This is a space for learning, collaboration and connection — whether you are already part of a staff network or simply curious to find out more.

Hosted by our Staff Networks (disAbility, Women's, Global Diversity, LGBTQIA+) and the Centre for Equity and Inclusion. Drop in anytime during the sessions — stay for a coffee, a chat, or just for lunch. We’d love to see you there!

Who Can Attend:

This event is open to all London Met staff - you do not need to be a network member to join. External guest speakers will join us to share good practice and broaden the conversation.
