Dorn (BM ’10), a celebrated composer, conductor, and proud alumnus returning home to his alma mater.Known as one of the finest collegiate wind ensembles in the nation, the St. Olaf Band brings its signature artistry, precision, and spirit to Memphis for one night only. Led by Dorn, the ensemble continues its legacy of excellence, innovation, and emotional storytelling through music.
Dorn’s journey has come full circle, from his early days studying composition and conducting at the University of Memphis to leading one of America’s most respected college bands. His nationally acclaimed works have been performed by the Minnesota Orchestra, the Harlem Quartet, and the Detroit Symphony Orchestra, among others. Now, he returns to the stage that shaped his artistry, inspiring a new generation with the same passion and purpose that defines his career.
