We ask questions looking at nature and find out what that connection might be – we develop our cognitive and abstract muscles to solve the problem. We have fun doing it. It helps us to think. Our imagination and creativity is enhanced and richens our lives in a healthy and productive way. It’s free and it’s fun. Land snorkeling is reestablishing the ancient connections to our landscape. We open up all of our senses to experience the hidden treasures of nature. We develop our intellect thru our senses. It is my personal belife that nature is for everyone, while some people find joy in speed or summits, I find joy in finding the little guys hanging around the trail, the buds on the trees, and the sounds of the earth. The goal for this event is to create a space for people who feel the same way to gather and do this together.

This event is a size, mobility, and minority inclusiv gathering with the goal of making getting outside accessible to everyone who would like to enjoy it. We will start with a short overview before we begin our wander. Everyone is encouraged to take their time and really look at the world around them. Together we will slow down, chat, look at the flowers, trees, and animals that live here with us. The walk will have options for paved or trail paths with the hope that we can make this as accessible as possible.

Info: After our wander, folks who would like are encouraged to hang out at the field by the discovery park visitor center and get to know each other, watch the clouds, or just enjoy fresh air.
