Spring Equinox Yin Yoga Gong Bath
The Spring Equinox represents a balance of yin and yang energy as we transition from winter to spring. Associated with the Wood Element, it provides us with the sense of renewal, reawakening and rebirth as we look ahead to fortify our purpose and plans.
We will begin the session with yin yoga poses guided by Kanwal, which are typically held for several minutes, involving twists and hip/groin work to stimulate the Liver and Gallbladder energy channels. This will encourage the rehydration of the fascia, unblock stagnant energy and release tension held deep in the body. During this time, San will use a 111hz tuning fork on your bones or place a Tibetan singing bowl on your body to support deeper healing in targeted areas.
Finally, you will lie back to surrender to the resonant vibrations of the ancient gong, to promote deep relaxation, stress reduction and a sense of peace.
· 5 min individual consultation to identify areas of the body that may require healing
· 60 min yin yoga with poses, releasing stagnant energy accumulated over winter hibernation
· 30 min gong bath to re-set the quiet the mind, re-set the nervous system and clear emotional blockages
· 5 min Pranayama breath practice to balance energy and calm the mind with a focus on the Third Eye Chakra
· Manifest your dreams for the months to come with discernment, planting a seed with your vision

About the Facilitators
Kanwal / Yogabliss
Kanwal’s teaching style is characterised by warmth, intuition and clear communication. Her classes are engaging and inclusive, with an emphasis on deep stretches, slow flows and mindful breathing. She encourages students to go beyond the physical postures and to delve into the transformative philosophy that underlies yoga. Kanwal was drawn to yoga in her 20s as a way of keeping a centre of gravity whilst doing a robust job working on women's rights and social justice and eventually trained with Yoghaven in 2010 (hot, vinyasa) and more recently with Norman Blair (yin). Kanwal has had a regular meditation since 2017. She currently teaches hatha and yin yoga styles in South London.
San / Soul Aurganic Sound Healing
San is a trained Sound Healing Practitioner who uses gongs, crystal bowls, Tibetan singing bowls, drums, tuning forks and voice. She recently created quantum healing modality called Toroidal Stargate Activation that facilitates directing toroidal energy in one's energy field and consciousness.
