About this Event
Spring Equinox Slowdown Sound Bath is a seasonal special in Greenwich, designed to settle the nervous system, to reconnect with the self, higher wisdom and calmer rhythms - physically, mentally, and emotionally.
The equinox marks the point where day and night are equal — a natural pause in the year, symbolising balance, renewal, and gentle forward movement. It’s a time traditionally associated with clearing what’s no longer needed and creating space for new growth, intention, and energy to emerge and so many say it's a powerful time for a spiritual practice such as a sound bath.
As you enter the space to find your spot and settle, you'll be gifted with a present to thank you for your presence, and as a symbol of abundance and growth in this cycle.
After a brief hello & introduction, the session begins with gentle breath work and a short heart-led meditation, accompanied by the bass drum. This opening supports connection, grounding and softening, helping activate the body’s natural rest-and-digest response so you can arrive fully in your body and the present — an ideal foundation for the equinox’s theme of balance and reset.
From here, you’ll be immersed in layers of therapeutic sound, from two instrument stations, including gongs, crystal singing bowls, and the voice. These sounds are offered to quiet the mind, soothe the nervous system, and gently retune the body back toward harmony — mirroring the natural rebalancing happening in the world around us at this point in the seasonal cycle.
All sounds are played with intention, using tones and intervals chosen to support symmetry, coherence, and inner balance.
Afterwards, enjoy herbal tea, a vegan cacao brownie, and time to ground or connect gently.
