Spotlight Artist Open Mic

Come join us at LYDIA ON H for a night of incredible talent and creativity from the city's rising stars! This week along side ya girl Summer Dennis, we feature J. Savage @j.savageeee and Pack Man Dre @pack_man_dre.

Born Supreme and ArtXXIII bring golden era influenced rap with a new unique sound with their unorthodox flows and wittiness with each bar. Growing up as brothers you can hear the effortless chemistry they have developed in each track. Born Supreme provides the raw delivery and P.G. slickness while ArtXXIII provides a one of a kind tone with his NY influenced confidence. Any project they have collaborated on has something for everybody. Their goal is to create music that stands the test of time by giving listeners inspiration through their life stories and experiences.

Teonna the Queen is a singer, songwriter, curator, and educator native to Prince George's County. She continues to collaborate with platforms in the DMV area am the while making her own special mark on the scene.

Akoiya, formerly known as Teah Pearl is a Neo-Soul singer/songwriter from Columbus, Ohio, whose musical journey began at birth. Raised in a home where music was a way of life—her mother a pianist and her small family church a training ground—she started honing her craft as early as four years old. Gospel music was her foundation, leading her to perform in various choirs, singing groups, and eventually as a solo artist. While pursuing a degree in Music Business, Akoiya made the move to the DMV, spending years in different parts of Maryland before fully embracing the area as her second home. Now, after 12 years in the city, she proudly represents both DC and Maryland as part of her artistic identity. Akoiya’s music is deeply rooted in storytelling, empowerment, love, and the lessons that shape us. Drawing inspiration from artists like Fred Hammond, Jazmine Sullivan, Jill Scott, SiR, Brandy, Alex Isley, and H.E.R., she crafts songs that resonate with authenticity and emotion, blending raw vulnerability with soulful melodies.

Summer Dennis has quickly made a name for herself as an artist to watch. Recently, she opened for Grammy-nominated R&B duo DVSN at the Howard Theatre, adding to her growing list of performances alongside artists such as Fergie, The Black Eyed Peas, Latto, Raheem DeVaughn,Bubba Sparxx, and more. Known for her versatility, Summer’s music spans multiple genres, drawing in a diverse and devoted fan base.
