Born and raised in Mérida, Venezuela, Fran Vielma is one of the most prominent voices in Pan-American music in the world today. Based in Washington D.C. where he is a faculty member of the world-renowned Peabody Institute of Johns Hopkins University, Fran specializes in fusing the rhythms and traditions of music from all over Central America, South America, and the Caribbean with the harmonies and styles of Jazz. This night of music will be a rare treat in Cincinnati, featuring the music of Fran's Venezuelan Jazz Collective, a band that usually features world-renowned musicians Miguel Zenón, Michael Rodríguez, and Luis Perdomo.
A $15 drink/food minimum is charged per person in the party, per set, if the total for beverages purchased by the party does not meet the minimum.
