About this Event
Spanish Guitar Night
Isabel Martínez has established herself as one of Spain’s most remarkable young classical guitarists, admired for her combination of technical brilliance and expressive artistry. Her musical journey began in her early years, quickly revealing a natural talent. She has studied at some of the world’s most prestigious institutions, graduating with distinction from the Guildhall School of Music & Drama in London. Notably, she was the only Spanish guitarist selected for the elite “Master Guitarra Clásica” program at the University of Alicante, where she received high praise from legendary guitarist Manuel Barrueco.
Isabel’s performances have graced audiences worldwide with her artistry and technical precision. She has shared the stage and collaborated with some of the guitar world’s most celebrated figures, including David Russell, Manuel Barrueco, Hopkinson Smith, Fabio Zanon, and Roberto Aussel. Critics often highlight her ability to fuse warmth, lyricism, and virtuosity.
Her repertoire spans the rich heritage of Spanish guitar, from the intimate, melancholic beauty of Tárrega to the powerful rhythms of Sáinz de la Maza and Granados. Isabel continues to bring the timeless magic of Spanish guitar to audiences around the world. Now, she brings that same artistry to London, an unmissable evening for anyone who loves Spanish guitar.
