About this Event
The Southwark Climate Justice Coalition will hold our next quarterly meeting on Thursday, 23 April, from 7–9 pm at The Walworth Living Room, All Saints Hall, Surrey Square, SE17 2JU, to celebrate Earth Day 2026. This year’s Earth Day theme is 'Our Power, Our Planet,” serving as a rallying cry for global action to reclaim voices, rights, and the future through community-driven solutions, sustainable energy, and protecting natural resources.
The meeting will be led by Mums for Lungs, who campaign for clean air, and will feature a presentation from them, followed by group discussions, a break with shared snacks, and a session where member organisations highlight key climate justice issues in preparation for the local elections on 7 May.

**With local elections coming up on Thursday May 7, we want to share with candidates and political parties the priorities of Southwark’s highly motivated and influential climate justice campaigners. Please can all member organisations bring and be ready to briefly present two key climate justice issues that elected councillors in Southwark will need to tackle during their period in office? We will share our priorities with each other and with candidates. If you know of any candidates who would like to attend (not to speak) please let us know.
