About this Event
ParkBathe is a green health project providing mindful walks and nature connection as a means to improve the health and wellbeing of women who may not engage in wellness activities or are wary of being in nature or green spaces alone.
ParkBathe uses aspects of 'forest bathing', forest school and mindfulness and is simply walking slowly together in a local green space whilst noticing our surroundings (no water is involved!)
The Friends of South Norwood Lake are holding their annual open day on Monday May 4th from 11am - 3pm and this ParkBathe is part of their event! They will have their ever popular plant sale, as well as a raffle, bric a brac stall, information stall, face painting, glitter tattoos, seed planting in a homemade pot , kids crafts and litter picking!
The Lakes Cafe are also running their May Day Madness so the park shall be buzzing!
This 1 hr guided session consists of small groups (max 12 adults) in South Norwood Lake & Grounds.
These sessions are offered free with the option to DONATE. We ask you to pause a moment before you book and consider if you can afford a donation ticket today. Donating allows us to continue providing these walks for local women.

* We suggest you book up to 3 sessions so you gain the accumulative benefits and learn the techniques for yourself.
MEETING PLACE: The Waterside Centre, 26 Avenue Road SE25 4DX. Book your place and full meeting details will be sent to you in avance.
We encourage particpants to use public transport where available but there is parking on the road by the playground if necessary.

CITIZEN SCIENCE:
Since 2021 we have taken over 1,600 people on walks and collected a wealth of health data. These results are published in a paper available on our website.
