SOURCE! --- A Queer Art Brunch & Community Art Class
đĽ 21+ ⢠$35 ⢠all materials, snacks, bottomless mimosas, etc included!
đđđ¨đ
Queer art brunch: studio tools + art supplies ranging from clay to oils to mohair yarn, mimosas + espresso, croissants, live model.
Process > perfection. The goal is to dedicate a few hours to creating.
SOURCE! is a communal, embodied, radically accessible art space. This is not a technical class, not a critique circle. There is no 'right' way to make art here. This is an exercise in untangling creativity from productivity.
Come eat, sip, and make alongside other creatives in a shared studio environment. Paint, draw, sculpt, collage, wander between materials, start over, abandon something halfway through. Drift. Snack. Start over!
All supplies are provided and shared. No experience required.
A live model will be available (clothed or nude depending on the session and consent), offered as an option-- not a directive!
This class centers--
⢠Anti-perfection (mess/trials/experimenting encouraged) ⢠Working on your own time (move at your own pace) ⢠Community over commodities ⢠Care for yourself and the people around you ⢠You don't have to finish anything ⢠You don't have to show anything ⢠You don't have to be perfect ⢠You just have to show up!
Includes:
đ Mimosas (+ non-alcoholic options available)
â CafĂŠ drinks (lattes, espresso, tea, you name it)
