You’re invited to the Stadacona Band’s “Sounds of the Atlantic” concert on Saturday, May 2 (2 p.m.) at Kenneth C. Rowe Hall inside the Canadian Museum of Immigration at Pier 21.
“Sounds of the Atlantic” will pay homage to the longest battle of the Second World War – the Battle of the Atlantic – with a powerful blend of music and visual retrospectives, featuring Canadian compositions, ceremonial and maritime-themed works, and classic selections from George Gershwin and Duke Ellington. The concert will also showcase new arrangements from the Royal Canadian Navy’s 1940s musical revue Meet the Navy, alongside performances by featured soloists and members of the DalKing’s Swing Dance Society.
Come enjoy what promises to be a memorable tribute to those who served and a heartfelt celebration of our rich naval history! This event is free and open to everyone (no need to register).

Vous êtes invités au concert « Sonorités de l’Atlantique » de la Musique Stadacona le samedi 2 mai à 14 h, qui aura lieu dans la Salle Kenneth Rowe au Musée canadien de l’immigration du Quai 21.
« Sonorités de l’Atlantique » rendra hommage à la plus longue bataille de la Seconde Guerre mondiale – la bataille de l’Atlantique – à travers un mélange saisissant de rétrospectives musicales et visuelles, mettant en vedette des compositions canadiennes, des œuvres cérémonielles et sur le thème maritime, ainsi que des pièces classiques de George Gershwin et Duke Ellington. Le concert présentera également de nouveaux arrangements tirés de la revue musicale de la Marine royale canadienne des années 1940 « Meet the Navy », ainsi que des prestations de solistes invités et de membres du DalKing’s Swing Dance Society.
