About this Event
Join Dinah Simpson for Sound & Kundalini. This evening will begin with a grounding and energizing Kundalini Yoga practice designed to awaken energy and cultivate deeper connection through breath, movement, mantra, and meditation. The evening will conclude with a deeply restorative sound bath led by Dinah, whose immersive soundscape will help guide the body and mind into a state of rest, reflection, and renewal. Together you’ll move through intentional practices that encourage balance, clarity, and presence while creating space to soften, release, and fully arrive in the moment.
Options and modifications will be offered throughout, making the practice welcoming for both newer students and experienced practitioners alike.
Yoga on Connecticut, a community yoga project in partnership with Van Ness Main Street, is excited to offer yoga for the neighborhood—creating a space where movement, mindfulness, sound, and community can come together.
This is a donation-based class, with a portion of proceeds supporting the NW Food Bank—an important resource in our community. If you’d like to contribute directly, they are currently collecting pet food donations to share with those in need.
Please arrive a little early to settle in and set up your space before class begins.
Please note: This is a simple pop-up style class, so participants should bring their own mat and any preferred props (blocks, straps, blankets, etc.), as they will not be provided. 18+
