About this Event
Join writer, teaching artist, and yoga instructor Kristen Zory King on a Wonder Walk through Rock Creek Park. Together, we'll wander through two and half miles of winding trails, stopping frequently to explore prompted philosophical questions with friends, ponder life's mysteries with strangers, and spend time in warm communion and quiet reflection, as we seek to answer the question: "Why are we here?" Bring comfortable clothing, your favorite philosophical or spiritual musings/texts to share, and a kind and curious mind.
We will meet at Ellē in Mt. Pleasant and then head to the Rock Creek Park entrance off of 17th St. NW around 4:00pm and return around 5:45pm. Kris will be in touch ahead of time with more details, including rain date if applicable. Please note: there are a few steep hills and challenges on the the trail. Tickets to this event are free, but donations are greatly appreciated.
