SOUL Brunch
Join us for a soulful official DREAMWEEK experience at Tony G's Soul Food Event Center in San Antonio, TX. Indulge in a delicious brunch featuring choice menu favorites of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. while enjoying the vibrant atmosphere of live music and good company. This in-person event promises to be a delightful Saturday afternoon filled with tasty food, clean comedy and positive vibes. This is a charity fundraising event. Proceeds support the mission of Project BIG, Inc., a faith-based, non-profit organization serving youth, veterans, families, and the less fortunate in our city. We're focused on community outreach and collaborative engagement to make our city and world a better place to live and thrive. Menu: Tony G's is the winner of the San Antonio Current's Best Soul Food 2024 award. They have earned an exceptional reputation by providing flawless service and exquisite food prepared from scratch. The brunch menu for this event includes some of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr's favorite soul food dishes like fried chicken wings, fried catfish, macaroni & cheese, greens, cornbread, garden salad, and peach cobbler -- as well as traditional breakfast items like scrambled eggs, waffles, grits, and bacon.
The entertainment lineup: We're featuring the hilariously funny comedian Delicia with laughter for your soul. World acclaimed performing artist, Tim Johnson & his band will bring the soul with a varitety of music genres to include live gospel music. Our Chat & Chew segment, will spotlight mental wellness for your soul care. Faiith and Health organizations will be on hand to provide free mental health and wellness resources.
Dress Code: Casual, Chic, and Classy - Add a touch of soul to showcase your signature style! Need ideas? Grab a smooth hat, wear a boutique find, don African attire, sport a classic blazer, or put on your favorite outfit. There will be a special photo op to commemorate the day.
Extras: Vendors will be on-site. Pre-order "God is BIG" t-shirts; limited sizes will be available for purchase at the event.
