Song SanctuaryGentle singing sessions for parents, carers, and babies
Adjusting to life with a new baby can be joyful, overwhelming, exhausting — and sometimes isolating. Song Sanctuary is a relaxed weekly singing group designed especially for new parents and carers to take a moment for themselves, connect with others, and experience the uplifting benefits of singing together, all while keeping their little ones close by.
Research shows that group singing can support emotional wellbeing, reduce stress, and help people feel more connected — something especially valuable during the early stages of parenthood.
These welcoming, baby-friendly sessions are open to mums, dads, grandparents, and carers with babies and toddlers under 18 months. Led by Aimee Toshney, the sessions focus on enjoyment, connection, and wellbeing through simple group singing in a calm and supportive atmosphere.
No singing experience is needed and there are absolutely no auditions — everyone is welcome. Songs are taught in an accessible and informal way, with opportunities to join in at your own pace. Some songs will even include playful musical moments for your baby too.
