Somätica | Silent Disco Ecstatic Dance in Nature | Femme Only

This is not your typical ecstatic dance.

Somätica is a women and femme-identifying space, intentionally held, intentionally inward. Where many ecstatic dance spaces emphasize external connection, contact improv, and interaction with others, Somätica asks you to turn the volume down on everything outside and tune deeply into yourself. Your body. Your breath. What's alive in you right now.

Born on the beaches of Puerto Escondido, Mexico where a small, devoted community of women has been gathering every week since 2025, Somätica comes to Denver this June for one special evening in the park as the sun sets over Washington Park.

This is a silent disco format. You will receive a Spotify playlist before the event, please download it in advance and arrive with your headphones ready. The music will guide you through a curated arc: a slow, grounding opening, a full-body release, and a soft, integrative close. No choreography. No performance. No one watching you get it right.

Just you, the earth beneath your feet, and the permission to feel everything.

What to bring:

• Headphones — wired or wireless
• Fanny pack or phone holder if you prefer to keep your phone on your body
• Water
• Yourself, exactly as you are

A blanket setup will be available for those who prefer not to hold their phone during the dance.

Exact pinned location will be sent out along with the playlist the day before!
Space is intentionally limited to keep the container intimate and held.
