About this Event
Feeling secure in one's identity as a mixed-race individual can be a tumultuous yet beautiful process. It requires weaving together strands of different cultural heritages and personal experiences into a coherent sense of self.
Somewhere In Between delves into the candid reflections of three mixed-race individuals on their upbringing and life in an interracial family. Through writing intimate letters recounting their experiences, they shed light on the beauty and challenges of their cultural diversity. Their identity is not confined by conventional boundaries. Their identity can exist in a fluid, dynamic space where all aspects are valued and interconnected.
Maybe they don't need to lean towards one side or the other; maybe they are simply somewhere in between.
