About this Event
Join our next gathering for the Series 'Therapy. Beyond Talking' with Gwen Pelfini, LMHC, LPCC, PATP to learn how she uses Sound as a Licensed therapist.
Sound therapy is increasingly recognized as a valuable tool in psychotherapy, offering profound benefits for mental and emotional well-being. By utilizing sound frequencies, vibrations, and music, therapists can help clients access deeper states of relaxation, enhance emotional processing, and support trauma recovery.
Research shows that sound therapy reduces stress by activating the parasympathetic nervous system, encouraging a calm and restorative state. Techniques such as singing bowl meditations or binaural beats have been found to lower cortisol levels and improve focus. For individuals struggling with anxiety or PTSD, sound therapy can help regulate the autonomic nervous system, reducing hyperarousal and promoting feelings of safety.
Feel free to send me your questions ahead of time, too! We'll make the most of our one hour together, and plant seeds for more opportunities to connect [email protected]
Join Gwen on the 1st Friday of the month for next topics:

'Breathing: Access Deep Healing' on Friday, Feb 7th
