About this Event
We spend so much time in our minds: thinking, planning, worrying, pushing through, that we slowly lose connection with the body.
Yet the body is where clarity lives. It’s where emotion moves.
This evening is an invitation to slow down and come back.
Through gentle somatic movement, breath, mantra, dance and guided meditation, we will create space for the nervous system to soften and the body to release stored tension.
Somatic practices help us move out of survival patterns like overthinking, anxiety, and emotional shutdown, and return to a deeper state of presence and safety within ourselves. Together, we will create the conditions for our bodies to release any cycles of stress that have not yet had the space to complete naturally.
This is not about performing or “doing it right.” It is about listening, feeling, and allowing your body to guide the process, while we reconnect with the Self.
Together we will create a supportive space to reconnect with ourselves and with the quiet intelligence of the body.
Whether you are new to somatic work or already on a healing journey, this experience will meet you where you are. Everyone is welcome in this space.
This event is for you if:
• You feel disconnected from your body or overwhelmed by stress
• You spend a lot of time in your head and want to reconnect with yourself
• You are curious about somatic healing or nervous system regulation
• You are seeking a space to slow down, release tension, and reset
No prior experience with somatic work or meditation is required.
This event is trauma-informed and invitational. You are always encouraged to move at your own pace and listen to your body’s needs.
Participation in all practices is optional, and you are welcome to rest or modify any movement.
Mariah Gatt is a certified trauma-informed somatic healing practitioner, energy healer and guide who supports individuals in reconnecting with their bodies, regulating their nervous systems, and returning to a deeper sense of wholeness. Her work blends somatic practices, nervous system education, and spiritual insight to create spaces where people can safely explore healing, embodiment, and self-connection.
Come as you are, wear comfortable clothing that you can move freely in, bring your water and a journal if that feels good for you! Yoga mats are provided.
