About this Event
Join SF Slow: SoMa Sunday Stroll for a guided walk through SoMa West, exploring how the stories of a neighborhood show up in its streets, spaces, and everyday life.
Presented as part of Jane’s Walk weekend, this experience invites you to slow down and see the city differently—not just as a place, but as a living narrative shaped by culture, community, and change.
Together, we’ll move through a curated set of stops—art spaces, cultural landmarks, and unexpected corners—pausing along the way to observe, reflect, and engage with the question:
What is this place saying?
Part of a weekend experience
This stroll builds on the ideas explored during Saturday’s SoMa Salon, where local voices come together in conversation about how the neighborhood tells its story.
On Sunday, we take those ideas into the streets—seeing how they show up in the built environment and in the lived experience of place.
You’re welcome to join the stroll on its own, or attend both events for a deeper, shared experience.
What to expect
- A small-group, guided walk through a focused area of SoMa West
- Stops at cultural, historical, and unexpected spaces
- Short reflections and prompts along the way
- A social, relaxed experience—come solo or with a friend
The walk will conclude at a local arts space, where participants are invited to continue exploring the neighborhood at their own pace.
SF Slow is a new series of neighborhood-based experiences that invite people to slow down, look closer, and experience the city differently.
