About this Event
Authority Collective Visual Leadership Salon is a space for photo editors, filmmakers, producers, curators, and visual storytellers to collaborate on building a better future for visual media industries.
We'll be discussing navigating AI, establishing ethics of care, equitable contracts, trauma-informed safety and commissioning practices, curating long-form projects, and more.
Speakers include: Nicole Fruge and Emily Jan (SF Chronicle); Danielle Scruggs (NPR); Marie D. DeJesus (PoYi); Sandra Stevenson (Education Week); Gabriela Hasbun (Independent); Taylor Le (The San Francisco Standard); and many others.
Produced by Authority Collective, this event centers women & gender-nonconforming visual storytellers of color. It's open to any who are committed to building an equitable visual media landscape for all.
