What’s the 411 on 4/11??
Let’s put it this way: Much like the Eagles in the 90s - the band, not the Birds - after we called it quits 12 years ago, both of us were pretty sure we would play music together again “when Hell freezes over.” Well, as it turns out, Hell *has* frozen over and there’s a whole lotta unwanted 🧊 out there and we want to be doing something to help pour a little 🧂on it, you dig? So we were thinking maybe a fundraiser or a bake sale that puts some ☀️ out into the world. But since we’re kind of averse to ovens, we figured the next best thing to the bake sale is to re-release our song “La Tierra” as a cool orange vinyl 7” and invite all of you to the Fallser Club on 4/11 to hang out with us in the afternoon!
We’ll be screening our two official music videos for old times sake, and we’ll also be in conversation with WXPN’s Bruce Warren about why we’re doing this. Then, we’ll dust off those beat up guitars and try to remember the chords for a spirited acoustic set - just like we used to play when we started out! We’ll do a couple sing alongs from each of our releases and since it’ll be our first time on stage in public since 2014, we’re going to bring along our pals Mike Leavy (of Jealousy Curve) on percussion and Mike Vivas on bass to help us out!
We seriously hope to see as many of our old (and new) pals as possible at this show if you believe that the 🧊 this winter has just been way too aggressive AND that “Immigrant Song” is the best thing Led Zeppelin ever did.
