We understand that being in such a space might feel intimidating. That’s why there will be plenty of time to land together and find calmness before engaging with others.
At its heart, Softer Dating is about connection, intimacy, authenticity and curiosity and not outcomes. Regardless of whether you meet the love of your life or not, you will hopefully feel nourished, connected and joyful!

THE EVENING
Part 1: Moments of connection
You’ll meet a range of people through short, guided one-on-one experiences. By removing the pressure of choosing, we create space to simply be present and curious.
Consent is explicit throughout. All exercises are invitations, you can always choose to do less or observe.
Part 2: Guided exploration with choice
As the group has landed and found comfort together, you now choose who you partner with. We’ll explore connection through:
• Moving your body (dance, movement)
• Mindful touch (soft, consensual)
• Curious conversations
• Observation & rest (take a break anytime)
Touch and closeness may arise, if desired. The atmosphere is intimate but not se*ual. No nudity, no pressure.
WHO IS THIS FOR?
People aged 40+ looking for meaningful connections. Any gender expression, style of relating, and sexual preference welcome.
We are usually 25-40 people
WHAT TO WEAR
Wear something comfortable & moveable that shows who you are
WHAT TO BRING
Just bring yourself!
(and a water bottle with a lid, as open containers are not permitted in the space)
DO I NEED EXPERIENCE?
No! Beginners are very welcome.
DO I NEED TO BRING A PARTNER?
No, though it might be nice to bring a friend!
TIMES
Doors open: 17:30 for you to land softly in the space
Start and doors close: 18:00, notice that if you are late you will likely not be permitted entry.
End: 21:00

QUESTIONS?
What if I don’t like an exercise?
You can observe instead. We encourage people to take care of their boundaries—it happens and we think it’s wonderful.
What if I feel awkward?
Awkwardness and shyness are welcome. You don’t need to pretend. Most people relax naturally after some time.
What about the gender ratio?
We can’t guarantee your preference will be there, but so far we’ve had a wide, colorful distribution of different genders!
What if I’m paired with someone I don’t find attractive?
Softer Dating is about connection, not just romance. Can you bring respect and curiosity, even if there’s no spark?
Why age ranges? We want you to feel like you’re in the right room. Not wondering if everyone is 22 or if you’re the youngest by a decade. Age ranges aren’t about exclusion, they’re about creating comfort and confidence. We offer events for different age brackets.
