About this Event
What if strength didn’t come from pushing harder, but from softening more?
This 2-hour workshop explores a different kind of strength: one rooted in support, awareness, and ease. Through a somatic approach, we’ll shift away from effort and into a practice of listening, releasing unnecessary tension and moving from a place of deeper connection.
We’ll begin with supported, prop-based shapes (using blocks, straps, and the mat) to help regulate the nervous system and gently open the body. These longer-held postures invite you to soften, receive support, and notice where you may be holding more than you need.
From there, we’ll move into a slow, grounding flow focused on stability, breath, and internal sensation rather than intensity. A simple pranayama practice will be included, and we’ll close with yin-inspired shapes and extended rest.
Open to all levels, this workshop is especially supportive for anyone feeling fatigued, overwhelmed, or curious about a more intuitive, less force-driven approach to yoga.
