This latest drama from François Ozon adapts Albert Camus’ novella faithfully, offering a haunting and visually lavish look at existential absurdism and its devastating effects. The Stranger was selected for the oﬃcial competition at the Venice Film Festival and UK-premiered at the London Film Festival.
