About this Event
Join us at AtkinsRealis for the official opening event of the Social Economy Drive 2024, a week long series of events to celebrate, promote and grow the Social Economy.
We will kick off with a welcome speech from the Mayor of the Midlands Richard Parker, followed by a panel of experts from the corporate, public and third sector world discussing how we can all contribute to the growth of the Social Economy.
There will also be an opportunity to hear from the organising team about their plans for the week and all of the different events that will be taking place.
The Social Economy Drive is designed to:
- Celebrate organisations across the West Midlands tackling social and environmental challenges.
- Raise awareness and the profile of these organisations by providing platforms for them to engage with other SE’s, Public Bodies and Corporate Organisations.
- It’s an opportunity for everyone in the Social Economy to connect, collaborate, secure investment and thrive.
