Love Music Hate racism, Stand Up to Racism Haringey and Spoken, Not Stirred have teamed up with post bar to bring you a night of music, poetry and vibes, along with an open mic for those who want to share.
Headling the event we have Usaama, a rapper, poet and actor. He has been featured on BBC Asian Network, BBC Radio London and Al Jazeera. A former Hammer & Tongue National Poetry Slam Champion, Usaama has performed as both a performance poet and musician on stages across the US, UK and Europe.
As he developed his craft as a writer and performer, Usaama visited schools and community arts spaces and delivered workshops for teenagers and adults on Hip Hop, creative writing, performance and mindset.
Usaama is currently working on new music, with a number of projects set for release in 2025. Along with the upcoming music, he is also planning a US tour.
