Description
Meet up with your profs and other students at 2:00 pm in the parking lot next to Bethel Town Hall and we will carpool to the trailhead. This moderate hike will take approximately two hours roundtrip and will include a discussion of the area's history. All ages are welcome but children under 13 should be accompanied by an adult. Please bring your own equipment, snacks, and water.
NOTE: The Bethel Public Library has a limited number of kids'-size snowshoes to lend out. If you need to borrow a pair, tell us that when you register and let us know what size you need. We will let you know if we can provide them for you."

Nancy has led many hikes to the flagpole, and Greg has extensively researched its history.
Session Type: Meet-up
Restrictions or Requirements: This will be a moderately strenuous hike. Kids under age 13 must be accompanied by an adult. We have several pairs of snowshoes available for those who need them. We will meet at the Town Hall parking lot and carpool to the starting point.
