Slavery, Sanctuary and York: Becoming a University of Sanctuary

This is a hybrid event and can be attended online or in person.
Organised by the York in London alumni group, this panel discussion and Q & A will look at the University of York's status as a University of Sanctuary and the impact this has not only on the University's community but more widely.

Within the session, the panel will also look to discuss a number of issues including slavery and its legacy, modern slavery, forced labour and coercion, further highlighting the importance and need for the University of Sanctuary programme.
It promises to be a really interesting discussion.
