Boundary-pushing with unfiltered energy, Slash Need’s music surges through your body demanding to be danced to. With hand-crafted props and evocative costume, this band has the nutrients Toronto desires. It’s no exaggeration to say SN is the city’s hottest band right now.
Sook-Yin Lee’s contribution to Canadian media cannot be overstated. From mid-’90s MuchMusic VJ to feminist film director to playing Toronto mayor Olivia Chow in CBC’s Jack biopic, it’s easier to list what Lee hasn’t done. Her latest release “Broken English” reimagines Marianne Faithfull’s revolutionary anthem ahead of her forthcoming solo album 72RHR on Hand Drawn Dracula.
Irish-Chinese producer and composer Sheenah Ko quickly caught the attention of the music scene with her use of analog synthesizers, ethereal vocals, and refined electronic production. Enjoy the immersive and emotive atmosphere her work brings to this stacked line-up.
The festival will close out in epic style with Canadian music legend Melissa Auf der Maur (Hole, Smashing Pumpkins) aka xMAdMx dropping a late night darkwave DJ set following her book launch earlier that day at Wavelength Music Festival + Conference 2026. In this realm, xMAdMx returns to her bohemian upbringing in Montréal as a cassette DJ and takes creative control.
