About this Event
1 in 4 girls and 1 in 13 boys in the United States experience exploitation before the age of 18.
That’s why situational awareness matters.
Awareness is not fear, it’s preparation.
One Voice for Children Presents:
Situational Awareness Training: More Than Stranger Danger
We taught children not to talk to strangers. But today’s threats don’t always look like strangers.Every year in the United States:
* Thousands of predators use gaming apps, social media, and trusted relationships to gain access to children
• The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children receives millions of reports connected to online exploitation each year
• Many child victims are harmed by someone they already know and trust
Most parents never think it will happen to their child… until it does.
Join us for a practical, eye-opening training designed to help parents and guardians become more aware, prepared, and proactive in today’s culture. This training will cover:• Warning signs parents often miss
• Grooming tactics and manipulation patterns
• Online safety and digital awareness
• Situational awareness in everyday environments
• How predators gain trust and access
• Practical ways to strengthen awareness and communication at home.
This is not fear-based.
This is awareness-based. Our goal is to educate, equip, and empower families with practical tools and real-world awareness that could help prevent exploitation and harm.
