Bio:
Beyza Yazgan is a Turkish pianist and composer from Istanbul currently based in Queens, NY. With a Professional Studies diploma from Mannes School of Music, she has performed in diverse locations, from traditional venues such as Weill Recital Hall in Carnegie Hall to ancient caves in Turkey. After winning first prize at the 8th Metropolitan International Piano Competition, Beyza self-produced her debut album, To Anatolia: Selections from the Turkish Five, released in 2021 by Bridge Records. In July 2024, she released her first album of original compositions Human Cocoon, which was picked as The Guardian’s contemporary album of the month. She is passionate about continually expanding her personal expression to new artist fields as she further explores her musical life as both a musician and composer.

Candice Wu is a San Francisco native Chinese-American singer-songwriter and composer based in Brooklyn, New York. Her sound is a sonic reflection of the influences and emotions she has absorbed through her travels, with introspective lyrics and soothing melodies acting as a form of release and expression. Laced with a whirlwind of identity crises, internal conflicts, and indecision, her soulful vocals and intimate lyricism give form to the beautiful people, experiences, and memories she has encountered. Her styles incorporate a blend of Folk, Singer-Songwriter, Jazz, and Blues. She has recently graduated with an MM degree in Songwriting from NYU.
