When you imagine yourself at your most connected and sensual self, does your body respond in kind? Or do you shy away from the feeling that you are a sensual being?
Are you immersed in the intimate power of sensuality? ✨
Through the use of somatic improvisational movement, create pathways of sensual discovery. In this workshop, we will move through various exercises to embrace the nature of our sensuality, increase confidence and find its specificity. 💖
Together we will work through exercises that allow us to move through the studio rooted in ourselves. Some of this will be absolutely silly and ridiculous. Some will of these exercises will require stillness and vulnerability. Movement and dance will collaborate and hopefully you’ll get a little workout in both body and self.

A bout the instructor:
Dorienne Dreadful, the delightfully damned picture of burlesque (she/they) is a current sex therapist. She has an undergraduate BFA in Acting and Dance with an extensive history in theatre and performance art. Dorienne is a burlesque performer, professional stage kitten, go-go dancer, FemDomme, and swer. Improvisational movement has been the touchstone of coming home to herself for over 20 years whenever confidence dropped, life got hard, or she just needed a moment to reconnect. Embracing your sensuality is ethereal and through movement, they believe, you can make your own magic. 🦇🖤
