🕊 How can we find more peace in 2026?
By gathering in community, having fun, opening our hearts, and yes, SINGING together!
How does it work?
Singing songs of peace:
- allows our worries, troubles and judgements to fall away for a while.
- gives a vacation from stress, and come away shifted.
- leaves us a little lighter, more hopeful, and more open hearted.
I am delighted to announce Sing for Peace’s 8 Week Spring Season, starting on Wednesday, April 8th, from 6:30 - 8 pm.
Come join us at Sing for Peace each week to be:
- moved by melody.
- heightened by harmony, and
- lightened by lyrics that leave us feeling connected, happier, and more positive.
We deserve some sonic medicine my friends. Let's create some magic together - the more of us, the stronger the medicine!
🎶 Singing together, especially songs of peace and togetherness:
- calms our minds and opens our hearts.
- allows stress and anxiety to melt away.
- helps us become radiant beacons of harmony.
🌎 All Voices Welcome
Our community choir has no auditions, no judgment, just voices coming together to create something beautiful.
We learn in the oral tradition, using call and response — simple, fun, and deeply satisfying.

📅 Wednesdays, 6:30 - 8 pm. April 8 - June 3, 2026 (NOTE: No class May 6th)
🎟 $150 for 8 Weeks ($50 off!), or $25 drop in.

I’m also SO EXCITED TO ANNOUNCE that we will be drumming every Wednesday from 8:30 - 10:30 pm, and will be rotating through a variety of different drumming workshops each month:
- DrumUnity Hand Drum Circles (for fun) every 2 weeks, on the 2nd & 4th Wednesdays: April 8th & 22nd, May 13th & 27th)
- Frame Drum Workshops on the Third Wednesday of the Month, with 2 different workshops:
* Using the frame drum to capture medicine songs (April 15th), and
* A Shamanic Drum Circle Ceremony (May 20th).
- A HealthRHYTHMS Hand Drum Circles (for stress reduction) on June 3rd.
I hope you can join us to sing and drum often in 2026, and be a part of a growing community of wonderful, like-minded, and open-hearted people!
🌟 YOUR FACILITATOR:
A trilingual rhythmic & sound healer, musician, and founder of Sound Benefits, Rufus brings years of experience in drum circles, sound healing, forest bathing, and sacred singing. His approach helps people reconnect with their natural rhythm, release tension, and awaken harmony — inside and out.
DO YOU LIKE TO LEAD HEALING SONGS?
I love to collaborate with a variety of my song leading colleagues and friends, so if you're tempted to join us, please let me know!
I ask co-facilitators to brings 2 to 3 songs they know well, and also to lead a vocal warmup. Sing for Peace participants enjoy songs that can be accompanied by percussion and sometimes guitar, so it's ideal if we can share song selections ahead of time, so I can support on guitar and percussion, and vice-versa, when possible.
