About this Event
On Sunday, April 26, Apulia Gastronomia invites you to a lunch that is, above all, a journey.
Five courses. Five Italian regions. One table in Toronto.
We begin in Puglia — land of olive trees and simplicity — with fave e cicoria and a rustic bread crostino. We travel north to Emilia Romagna for rosette ai funghi porcini, fresh pasta with the deep scent of the forest. The heart of the meal comes from Umbria: slow-roasted porchetta with wild herbs. Alongside it, a bright Sicilian contorno of roasted peppers with capers, garlic, parsley and vinegar. We close in Naples with the legendary pastiera — wheat, ricotta, orange blossom. A taste of celebration.
Housemade Pugliese bread served throughout.
