Deconstructing Franz Liszt: Virtuosity Unraveled and Reimagined
Composers Concordance launches its 14th Annual CompCord Festival – Comedy with Sh*t L*szt, a daring, humorous, and genre-bending concert that takes apart the myth, spectacle, and excesses of Franz Liszt. Featured works include: Shit List by Gene Pritsker, for baritone, soprano, violin, and guitar; To do Liszt by Leo Genovese; and B.ovine S.cherzo for solo viola by Audrey Morse.
Composers:
Aaron Alter, Lynn Bechtold, Dan Cooper, Tom Lehrer, Leo Genovese, Audrey Morse, Daniel Palkowski, Gene Pritsker, Emiliano Revert, David Wolfson
Performers:
