Shred the Mic is an open mic where all art forms and creatives are welcomed! Are you looking for a unique safe space to showcase your passion and talent? Comedy? Poetry? Singing? Shred the Mic is it!

Our goal every month is to highlight underground and perhaps marginalized artists tryna make it in good ol’ Dallas, Texas!

Where? At 4DWN Project!

4DWN is a special place. It’s not only a skatepark, it’s a local non-profit whose mission is fostering the sustainable health and well-being of our kids, families and environment through programs emphasizing recreation, education, cultivation and conservation. Here we have a unique service-driven community and resilience hub serving the needs of hundreds of kids and families each week, creating upward mobility opportunities, and distributing thousands of pounds of healthy food in a circular, closed-loop fashion.

When you support Shred the Mic, you not only support community but you actively do it with us!
