Join Jefferson County Planning & Community Development for the Short-Term Rental Toolkit workshop on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM. Hosted at Jefferson Community College in the Jules Center (Room 6-002), this collaborative session is designed for local leaders and community stakeholders to navigate the rapid growth of STRs. Led by Senior Planner Jamie Konkoski, AICP, the workshop provides best practices for developing equitable and balanced local regulations while protecting the residential character of our neighborhoods. Jamie Konkoski, AICP, is a Senior Planner at LaBella Associates, where she works on comprehensive plans, zoning updates, and downtown revitalization projects primarily in the North Country. With 17+ years of community planning experience — including six years as Community Development Director for the Village of Saranac Lake — she brings hands-on expertise in navigating the housing, zoning, and neighborhood character challenges that short-term rentals present at the local level.
